Shipping, Returns & Privacy

Pre-orders

Sending an order form is a request, not a purchase. No payment is taken on this website. When orders open, we’ll email you a secure payment link with your final total, including shipping and any Virginia sales tax. Your order is confirmed only once you pay. Prices may change before then, and we’ll always tell you first.

Shipping

We ship within the United States by USPS. Honey, candles and balms ship year-round; honey suckers ship to Virginia addresses only. Scion wood ships January through March, Monday to Wednesday, by USPS Priority Mail ($12 per order, $18 for 25 or more scions), to 42 states and DC. We do not ship scion wood to California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Hawaii or Alaska, or outside the U.S.

Scion wood is live plant material

Scions are dormant, living cuttings sold for grafting. Each box ships with a Virginia plant inspection certificate and no soil. You are responsible for knowing and following your own state’s rules for receiving plant material. Because grafting success depends on storage, timing and technique, we can’t guarantee that grafts will take.

Returns & refunds

Because our honey, beeswax goods and scion wood are perishable or hand-made, we can’t accept returns. There are no refunds once an order has shipped, except for items that arrive damaged. If something arrives broken or spoiled, email us a photo within 3 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund it. If we can’t fill part of your order, or trim a scion order to the 4-per-variety limit, we simply won’t charge you for it.

Honey and beeswax goods

Our honey is raw, strained wildflower honey from our own hives, bottled by hand. Honey should not be fed to infants under one year old. Lip balm and lotion bars are for external use only; check the ingredients if you have allergies. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Privacy

We use your name, email, phone and address only to answer and fill your order and to let you know when it ships. We never sell or share your details. Order forms are delivered to us by email through a form service (FormSubmit). To have your details deleted, just email us.
